You are cordially invited to attend our annual Spring Luncheon & Concert featuring The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey conducted by Robert Butts.
The concert will be in two parts. Part 1 will feature overtures by two contemporaries of Mozart, Myzlivecek and Galuppi; a movement from Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto with Andrew Pecota the soloist; and a trumpet concerto by Neruda, much loved by professional trumpeters and performed by Jonah Kappraff. Part 2 will feature a new work, commissioned for this concert, by Amy Reich in honor of Womens History Month as well as a chamber opera by Maestro Butts based on the Edgar Allen Poe story, Cask of the Amantillado featuring soprano, Karole and tenor, Peter Lewis.
