Special State Officers
As NJIT Special State Officers, you are bound by the State ethics regulations which require us to act in a manner giving the public the highest degree of confidence in our integrity and credibility. For guidance, please follow the Uniform Ethics Code and NJIT's Supplemental Code of Ethics when acting on behalf of the University.
Special State Officers
NJIT Special State Officers are required to:
- Acknowledge they have received and reviewed New Jersey's Uniform Ethics Code and NJIT's Supplemental Code of Ethics;
- File an Outside Employment Questionnaire for Special State Officers at the time of appointment and update at least every three years thereafter;
- Annually review the ethics briefing, cannabis briefing, and undergo ethics training at the start of their appointment and every three years thereafter;
- Annually file a Conflict of Interest (COI) form (College/University Governing Board Members);
- Annually file a Personal and Business Relationships Disclosure Form;
