The Office of Institutional Effectiveness

Our Mission

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE) is responsible for verifying, managing, monitoring, and reporting all non-financial data about the university to external governmental agencies, accreditation and other public/private entities. OIE reports statistical information on enrollment, degrees conferred, faculty, and research activity.

The office actively engages in analysis, survey research, program assessment, and evaluation of teaching learning and outcomes. OIE provides information to senior management to aid in data-driven decision making, strategic planning, continuous improvement of the academic programs, and the enrichment of the student experience at NJIT.
