Ethics Liaison Officer
I think you will agree that it is essential that all NJIT employees conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner when acting on behalf of the university.  We are pleased that Jean Feeney joined the NJIT Human Resources staff recently as NJIT’s Ethics Liaison Officer. Jean reports to Ted Johnson, Vice President for Human Resources.

Jean’s responsibilities are to ensure that NJIT meets the standards of the New Jersey State Conflict of Interest statutory mandates, as well as ensuring that the NJIT community is aware of, and complies with, the New Jersey State ethics laws, regulations, and executive orders. She will also ensure that all NJIT employees receive the required ethics related documents, complete necessary filings, attend mandatory trainings, and are able confidentially to bring forth concerns or allegations of ethics violations.

As her title implies, Jean will serve as the liaison between NJIT and the State of New Jersey Ethics Commission.  Ethics questions, comments, and issues should be directed to her attention at (973) 642-4285 or
