The NJIT Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) has delivered invaluable small business support services to twenty counties throughout the State of New Jersey since 1986.
Free technical assistance is available to established New Jersey based small businesses seeking to sell their products and services to government contractors and federal, state, and local government agencies. Our Procurement Specialists assist in navigating the private and public sector procurement processes with one-on-one and group counseling, proposal reviews, certification and registration assistance, marketing, post award requirements and specialized training.
Operating under a cost sharing cooperative agreement between the Department of Defense and the prestigious New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), PTAC has leveraged the university's knowledge base and resources to provide state of the art services and technical support that have influenced over 3.3 billion dollars ($3.3B) in contract awards for our clients. As we celebrate our thirtieth year of operation, we thank NJIT, the Defense Logistics Agency, the Department of Defense, and all of our partners for making our journey and successes possible.
