Distinguished Research Panel/Seminar series is organized by the Office of Research to provide important information about research funding and collaboration opportunities to faculty and staff. We are pleased to announce the following event:
“Interdisciplinary Research on Innovation”
Guest Speaker: Gloria Barczak, Ph.D.
Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM)
Professor of Marketing, Northeastern University
Director of the Institute for Global Innovation Management, Northeastern University
Dr. Barczak will discuss past and current trends of innovation and new product development. She will also provide insights into interdisciplinary research on innovation and new product development. Receiving nearly five hundred research manuscripts annually from around the world, Dr. Barczak will discuss JPIM from the editor’s perspective.

About the Speaker
Named among the world’s top twenty innovation management scholars, Dr. Gloria Barczak is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Product Innovation Management, and is on the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management and Creativity and Innovation Management. She is the director of the Institute for Global Innovation Management at Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and Professor of Marketing in its D’Amore-McKim School of Business. She is a member of the IPDM Scientific Committee, the PDMA Operations Committee, and the PDMA Publications Committee.
The Journal of Product Innovation Management has a five-year impact factor of 2.93. It is ranked A* in ABDC and 4 in ABS (both are the highest ranks). It is the leading journal devoted to the latest research, theory, and practice in new product and service development. The scope of the journal is broad, taking account of issues that are crucial to successful product innovation in the organization's external and internal environments.
