How-To: Editing Your Directory Listing

How Do I Edit My Listing in the NJIT Directory?


Step 1 - Using your Internet Browser, navigate to the NJIT Directory Site at http://directory.njit.edu.

 

Step 2 - In the "Search For: " Box, search for yourself in the directory. You can do this by entering all or some of your first or last name, or by using your UCID.

 

Step 3 - After searching for yourself, select your name from the list.

 

Step 4 - On the right hand side of the screen, there will be a box entitled "Login to view hidden entries or modify your directory entry." In this box login using your UCID and password. After logging in the box will change similar to the image below. Click on the button that says "Edit My Profile".

 

Step 5 - You will be brought to a page that looks similar to the image below. From here you can edit all applicable information as needed. When you have finished making the necessary changes, be sure to click "Save" at the bottom right of the page. Note: If your profile shows up on any department's people page, the information that is reflected on those pages, such as your Title, is editable via this page.
