The Teaching, Learning, and Technology (TLT) Group was formed in 2000 to improve the quality and accessibility of education at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. TLT is a collaborative effort of the departments of Instructional Technology & Media Services, Academic Computing Services, and the Van Houten Library.
Through these collaborative efforts we hope to assist faculty and staff to ensure that NJIT students receive the most effective and efficient education possible. These efforts include multi-hour and full day workshops, and multi-day faculty institutes aimed at meeting a wide variety of needs as identified by the entire NJIT community.
The Faculty Institute is an opportunity for faculty to attend workshops to learn about instructional design and technology at NJIT. It typically occurs three times a year, falling on January, May, and August. In lieu of the January Faculty Institute, faculty and instructional staff are highly encouraged to register for and participate in the Rutgers University Online and Hybrid Learning Conference, which will take place from January 14th-15th.
