Winter Session is a three-week term between the fall and spring semesters. Students can earn up to four hours of academic credit during this session which usually means one course. Students interested in taking two courses must speak with their academic advisor and obtain their permission to do so. The concentrated format of a Winter Session course allows students to focus on a single subject area which enhances their chances of achieving a good grade in the course. Winter Session courses at NJIT offer the same excellent instruction as those offered during the regular academic year.
