2022 Dana Knox Student Research Showcase
April 20, 2022
The 2022 Dana Knox Student Research Showcase is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
This event will be held from 1-3:30pm in the Campus Center Gallery. As in the past, we expect to have significant attendance both by our students and by our external constituents.
We ask that you nominate your best student researchers to participate in the event. Please keep in mind that we are looking for experienced presenters only; the students must have previously presented the material to a professional audience.
Nominators and nominees should be aware that display of a poster may be considered a public disclosure of an invention. Please contact the NJIT Office of Technology Development (Sanjiv Chokshi, Esq., Manager of Patent Prosecution at sanjiv.m.chokshi@njit.edu) to discuss patentability issues. Public disclosure of an invention may have a negative impact on the ability to obtain patent coverage.
Please note that nominations of presenters are due no later than Monday, March 14, 2022.
Please provide (to the extent possible) the following information for your nominees:
- Name
- Year (e.g., freshman / senior / masters / doctoral)
- Discipline
- Title of work
- Short description of work (one or two sentences only)
- Where and to whom the work has been presented
- Awards received for past presentations (if applicable)
- Funding source for work (if applicable)
All nominees will be reviewed by a selection committee.
Please forward all nominations to Elizabeth DiBlasio in the Provost’s Office (diblasio@njit.edu).
The goal of the event is to raise the awareness among constituents (prospective employers and funders) and among our students (prospective researchers) of the quality research that takes place at NJIT.
