New Jersey prohibits the knowing possession of any firearm in or upon any part of the buildings or grounds of any school, college, university or other educational institution without the written authorization of the governing officer of the institution.
This prohibition applies whether the possessor has a valid permit to carry the firearm or a valid Firearms Purchaser Identification Card.
To recieve authorization, please contact public safety @ 973-596-3120 and ask to submit a formal request to the Chief of Police.
